18 Dance Bar Covers It
18 crowd, center of Wichita's drag community, and a great dance floor. Two actually, check out the country bar next door. Lots of friendly people and swimming in the summer.
Sam's Club that Serves Drinks
Sorry about the title but that's what it feels like in here. I have to say I come here more often than some of the others (main hang is Side Street) because of the history of the place, but it always seems like the place is so empty, cold and lonely. Went to a drag show here two weeks ago and there were a total of 6 people watching in this HUGE place. On nights when they are busy I think it should be called Gay Asia! LOL. Seems like Asian gangs everywhere and seeing cops and guards hanging out I always feel like I need to watch my back (and my wallet). I like some of the people who work here and that's why I support them but it isn't at all my preference. Used to be a great place a few years ago but went way downhill.
