BIO:
Christene Main, a Nebraska native, has been involved in the political world since the age of 16. She interned in Washington DC for then minority whip Del. Brian Moran, where she assisted in the research and drafting of the counter bill for their Legislative Ban on Gay Marriage. Christene has held several positions with the Young Democrats of America including National Committeewoman, Woman's Caucus Secretary, Regional Secretary, and Regional Representative for the LGBT Caucus. After moving back to Kansas City, Christene became heavily involved in the Human Rights Campaign, through which she did extensive fund raising, lobbying and campaigning. Currently, Christene is serving as a consultant to several LGBT issues and campaigns throughout the Kansas City Area.
