To compete, Trainers must catch the single best Pokémon they can find during the day of the event. This event will be similar to the bug catching contest within the Pokémon games. Any Pokémon caught will be recorded in the Pokédex, but only one Pokémon can be kept to be judged. Trainers will present their rarest Pokémon caught during the same day to be judged at the Wichita eSports booth which will be located at the Keeper of the Plains. Judging will be conducted as follows: Rarity of catch/rarity of move/rarity of size. Evolutions or eggs will not be accepted, your journal will indicate if you caught the Pokémon and when it was caught. The journal will track your last 50 events which include Pokestops and Pokemon encounters so make sure you have the Pokemon you want to use within those 50 events. Pokémon will need to be presented to the judges by 7:00pm. Any Pokémon presented after this time will not be considered to win. Prizes will be awarded at 7:30pm and the rarest catch WILL be taking home a 3DS!
We will have plenty of great prizes/raffles to give out and Pokémon to catch! May the best Trainer win!
*Trainers can utilize the entire city to catch Pokémon but will need to present their rarest catch to the Wichita eSports representative at the Keeper of the Plains by 7:00pm to be considered to win*
Please be respectful while at the Keeper of the Plains, throw away trash and keep our city nice.
